Design Process

I will meet with you to walk the grounds, discuss your goals, and outline the process and my terms. Depending on the size of the project, I will offer a proposal on the spot or deliver it later on.

Once you’ve retained my services, I will return to the site to photograph and take measurements. If possible, you should provide a plot plan or survey of the property. I’ll develop a preliminary concept and present it to you. This plan, depending upon the project, may include a hardscaping design and recommendations for plants and materials. After we’ve discussed this together, I will make revisions to it and draw up a final plan, which includes a plant list with recommended size and number of plants.

At your request, I will bring in contractors to bid on the project and help you review their proposals.
